Lyme Park 2015

Lyme Park 2015

Saturday was the SCCC Lyme Park 2015 ride. The weather forecast for the weekend was terrible – really strong winds an heavy rain! Andy and I were concious that next week is the Stockport 10 (a 10 mile hilly run) and due to me being ill we haven’t done much training for it. SCCC Tour de Stockport

SCCC Tour de Stockport

Saturday was the SCCC Tour de Stockport.  It started fromLowland Road near Woodsmoor Station, where 20 of us met up. A very nice day for cycling it was too! TPT Day 5 – Howden to Hornsea and Hull

TPT Day 5 – Howden to Hornsea and Hull

Friday was our TPT Day 5 – Howden to Hornsea then Hull. It was also Andy’s birthday (he said he was 24 but I think he may have ‘lost’ quite a lot of years)! We left Howden and followed some lovely quiet roads. The only ‘problem’ was that they were very exposed,  which meant we had quite a strong head wind. We crossed over a lock called Weighton Lock. About 16 miles into the ride we stopped off for a…
