SCCC Mow Cop Ride

Saturday was the SCCC Mow Cop Ride, which is a ride that we have done before. Mow Cop is a rather famous hill but in actual fact we were going to climb it from the ‘easy’ side. SCCC Salt Line Ride

Saturday was the SCCC Salt Line Ride. We met in the little car park near Hassall Green on a dry but rather cool morning. We set off along the road towards Hassall Green, crossing over the canal and following the road to Malkin’s Bank. We started the Scottish C2C on Thursday, which was day 0 (our way to Annan). Friday was our day 1 when we travelled from Annan to Moffat. Saturday was our Day 2 when we cycled from Moffat to Peebles. Sunday was Scottish C2C Day 3 when we cycled from Peebles to Edinburgh and Monday was to be day 4 when we would cycle to the end of the Scottish C2C route and then back Edinburgh to catch our train home…

Scottish C2C Day 1 – Annan to Moffat

The Scottish C2C Day 1 is made up of two parts – our ride from the Rowanbank Guesthouse to the start of the route, followed by the route from the start to Moffat. You can see our trip to Annan here.
