A Visit to Ladybower Reservoir
Sunday afternoon we decided to go out for a walk with Chris (Andy’s brother who was up visiting from Bournemouth). We drove to the Peak District and parked in the car park near the visitor centre by Ladybower Reservoir in the Derwent Valley. Then we set off to walk around the reservoir.
We didn’t walk very far before stopping at a bench to eat our packed lunch.
We stopped off at the visitor centre for a drink and an ice cream before heading back to the car.
It was a lovely sunny afternoon and we thoroughly enjoyed our walk around Ladybower Reservoir. The paths are good and made for easy walking. We walked 6.6 miles.
