Ten Stockport Community Cycling Club cyclists met at Torkington Park for this cycle ride out to Bollington. Neil was leading this second group. The forecast for the weekend indicated lots of foul weather. So it was that most Stockport Community Cycling Club riders decided to stay at home, and only eight turned up for this ride out to Alderley Edge and Wilmslow. After a thoroughly enjoyable weekend in Aberdeenshire, including walks up Green Hill and around Castle Fraser, we now headed back home. Before we reached home, however, we popped in to see our friends Andy and Sylvia in Hawick. Then having spent the evening there, the following morning we went for a little local walk to the nearby Williestruther Loch. Following yesterdays walk up Green Hill, the second walk of our Aberdeenshire weekend would take us around the estate of Castle Fraser. Yesterday, it had rained morning, so we walked in the afternoon. Today, however, since it promised rain in the afternoon, we walked in the morning. Castle Fraser is just a few miles north of Midmar.
